Election Integrity: A Critical Issue We Face As A Party

Election Integrity is a cornerstone of any democratic system. It ensures that the people's will is accurately reflected in the outcome of elections. When the integrity of our elections is compromised, it erodes public trust in the democratic process and undermines the legitimacy of elected officials.

The ballot must be safeguarded to prevent tampering and manipulations. We must ensure that only eligible voters cast a ballot, votes are recorded accurately, and the counting process is transparent and free from interference. It is imperative that appropriate measures are taken to ensure the security and accuracy of electronic voting machines to reinforce voter confidence.

North Carolinians deserve to have trust in elections, the utmost confidence their ballot is protected, and to know their vote counts. That is why the N.C. Republican Party has established a statewide Election Integrity Committee.

For multiple election cycles now, NCGOP has been recruiting, training, and deploying hundreds of attorneys and thousands of poll observers across North Carolina. These volunteers observed absentee-by-mail approval meetings, early voting polls, election day polls, county canvasses, recount meetings, and protest hearings.

North Carolina has been nationally recognized for our “protect the vote effort”. In fact, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel is using North Carolina as a model for other states. Yet, our work is not done. The statewide Election Integrity Committee and subcommittees will not rest until North Carolina voter confidence is fully restored. Volunteers are critical to the mission of the Election Integrity Committee. Attorneys, election integrity monitors, poll workers - all play a crucial role in making sure our 2024 elections are safe, secure, and trusted.
