Paul O'Neal Board of Education Candidacy

Upon accepting the appointment to complete the unexpired term of Bobby Hanig in the 6th District of The General Assembly, it has been brought to my attention that per the NC General Statutes I would not be eligible to be seated in the Poplar Branch Township Board of Education seat when the term begins in December, if I were to prevail in the November 8th election. With this information in mind, I have decided to suspend my campaign for this seat. I wish to thank everyone for all the support and encouragement leading up to this difficult decision. I look forward to serving the great people of Currituck and the 6th District as we go forward.

God Bless,

Paul O'Neal
